Q. What were your thoughts on today? What worked for you specifically?
AYAKA FURUE: Well, actually I think many of my shots worked out great and I got the birdies when I wanted to, and even if I fell short I was able to do some par saves.
So generally speaking I think the putter worked very well for me today.
Q. What were your thoughts on the week as a whole here at Pebble?
AYAKA FURUE: Well, as a whole, you know, I think for the last three days I was able to watch the beautiful vistas, played a challenging course of course, and I was able to take it all in, sort of experience it, and be here for that.
That was great.
It led to my having more confidence in general.
Q. And then the last question: What does it mean to you to be able to play in the first U.S. Women's Open here on this course?
AYAKA FURUE: It's such a stunning and famous course after all, so that in itself was a great gift to me and great experience.
