Q. Bailey Tardy, 1-over 73 today to finish up. Can you talk us through your round today?
BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, got off to a really slow start. I definitely was extremely nervous this morning, or I guess technically this afternoon. Didn't sleep great last night.
I guess my caddie really tried to help me stay in the moment. Kind of just focus one shot at a time and grind it out, and that's what we did out there.
Q. Ultimately came up a little bit short but an amazing week for you. What are you going to take from this experience?
BAILEY TARDY: I mean, everything. Just playing a tournament, a championship at Pebble is just incredible. It's just been an amazing experience out here. Can't wait for us to come back here in 10 years.
Q. What about this memorable week will you remember for women's golf and the U.S. Women's Open?
BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, this week was going to go down in history for sure. Just to have this in 10 years I think will really encourage a lot of girls to want to turn pro and be out here and aspire to play in the Open Championship.
Q. You're T4 so that's top 10 so you're exempt into next year. How important and exciting is that?
BAILEY TARDY: I actually had no idea that that was a thing. I walked into the scoring tent and Liz said, you don't have to play in another qualifier. So that's definitely a bonus for sure.
Q. I know yesterday you said you don't play for money, but again, T4, that's a pretty good paycheck. Are you going to start looking into houses?
BAILEY TARDY: Maybe. I did tell my caddie I have to wait to get paid because I can't pay him his percentage. I am broke. But now I'm not.
Q. How about the fan support out there today? You had huge crowds, everybody was chanting your name. How cool was that?
BAILEY TARDY: It was amazing. I definitely never played in front of a crowd like that before, and just having that support from -- I know I have a lot of family and friends out there in the crowd, but to have everybody chanting my name and cheering for me and kind of helping me when I was struggling, they definitely encouraged me out there.
