Q. Congratulations, quarterfinals. What's in your head?
PAULA MIRANDA: It's crazy. It's my first time playing in a USGA event, so it's crazy. Alexa is a great player. It was definitely a tough match.
Q. Up-and-down match; how do you stay focused?
PAULA MIRANDA: I don't know, I just kept focusing on my game. I trusted my game. I trust my caddie. It's amazing, we worked together throughout the course. Yeah, I don't know.
Q. Who is your caddie?
PAULA MIRANDA: Alejandro Alonso. He's also my golf coach back in Mexico.
Q. Have you had much experience with match play before?
PAULA MIRANDA: No, actually my first time playing match play was like a month and a half ago, yeah, in Mexico. We had a small tournament. Yeah, this is much bigger than that.
Q. Where are you from in Mexico?
PAULA MIRANDA: From Puebla, Mexico.
Q. You've made it really far. What's been working well with your game?
PAULA MIRANDA: Yeah, I think I've been hitting pretty -- well, my driver. Also I've had some great irons from the fairway, and I think putting is key on this course. So yeah, just getting good speed, and yeah.
