Q. You birdied six of the first nine holes. Tell me about that stretch.
LUKE POTTER: Yeah, you have to stay aggressive when you're in a semifinal match. The other guy was playing really well, so got to be aggressive, and I came out and made a lot of putts.
Q. Do you think that that relates to how the tournament was going all along? Do you think this was your best match putting?
LUKE POTTER: Yeah, you know, every day I found my putting was getting better and better. If I just kept hitting it close, I knew I was reading it well so I'd roll a few putts in.
Q. You still have another year of high school. This was a great run. How does this help you going forward in your junior golf career?
LUKE POTTER: Yeah, it gives me great confidence going against the best players in junior golf, and to beat some of them, it's good. But there's still a lot of work to do. You know, this is what I signed up for, so I'm happy to be playing golf.
