Quick Quotes

Q. So congratulations on making it so far in the championship. You guys played really, really well. Can you maybe give me like one moment from the whole week that was just really special to you guys?

MEGAN WELCH: Every moment was special here. I mean the only reason we were here is because honestly of COVID and because we weren't able to have a fall golf season and so we wanted to, we played in the Minnesota state four-balls, a couple of them and we have had success there, so we just kind of wanted to see what it would look like playing before she graduates and moves on. So there's not really one moment that stands out, it all from the moment we stepped on the property it's all been amazing, special.

TAYLOR LEDWEIN: For me it was on 18 when we parred Sunday, because our goal was to make it to match play and then making it and then I mean every match that we won was a special moment but just getting to where we were.

Q. You guys are now as quarter finalists exempt into next year's championship. What does that mean to you guys?

TAYLOR LEDWEIN: Well it means a trip to Puerto Rico.

MEGAN WELCH: We didn't know that actually until we won this morning and her dad was like hey looks like we're going to Puerto Rico and we didn't know that the. So it's super exciting. It means that even though she's not at college with me anymore we still get to spend time together.

TAYLOR LEDWEIN: It's going to be fun I've never been to Puerto Rico and I never played golf in Puerto Rico, so it's going to be a fun experience.
