Q. Came up just short, but you guys have a lot to be proud of this week. It was really fun watching you play. You had 16 birdies yesterday, you opened today with a crazy good semifinal match, victory. Hit a lot of good shots, a near ace I saw, a hole-out from the bunker. Talk about some of the highlights and just the experience this week.
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: I don't think there's one highlight that stands out, just the amount of clutch putts to win holes, to halve holes, to win matches. I think it all just fits together as a great week and an experience that we will never forget.
BAILEY SHOEMAKER: Yeah, I totally agree with her. It definitely stings a little bit coming up short, but it was to one of our good friends, and we definitely had a lot of birdies out there and that leads to a lot of confidence for us. We know we definitely had the most birdies out there than any other team, so we can say that for ourselves this week.
Q. How much do you guys enjoy playing together and playing in four-ball?
BAILEY SHOEMAKER: I love it. Kaitlyn has been my partner for four-ball a couple times now, and it's just always awesome. We have a blast out there, and I think we gelled really well together, and our games match each other.
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: Yeah, I agree with everything. It's always nice to have a partner that you know that's really good at golf to lean on who can make a lot of good putts at the end.
Q. When you play back-to-back rounds two days, how tough is this championship, making it all the way?
BAILEY SHOEMAKER: There's never a doubt of confidence, me with Kaitlyn. I know if I put myself out of position she's always going to be there to back me up and vice versa. I know we're always there to lean on each other, and hopefully we get two looks all the same. That's what we kept saying throughout the week.
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: Yeah, I completely agree. Every time I was out of position, you were always there to make a 10-footer to back me up.
Q. What's next for you guys this summer?
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: U.S. Open qualifier, hopefully the U.S. Open. We'll both be at U.S. Girls.
Q. Playing against each other, though?
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: Hopefully in the finals. Hopefully we'll have the same presentation in July.
Q. Which Women's Open qualifier? Are you in the Florida one?
BAILEY SHOEMAKER: I'm in the Florida one, it's Stewart or Fort Lauderdale.
KAITLYN SCHROEDER: I'm in Atlanta.
