Quick Quotes

Q. Live to see another day, No. 1 seed, you guys were actually over par on the front but then I had you at 6-under through seven holes on the back. How did you turn it around?

BRET PARKER: I think 9 was pretty pivotal for us. We weren't that sharp on the front nine, and Torey made a good 10-footer for birdie to halve the hole because if he would have missed that, we would have gone 2-down and it would have been a whole lot different. I think that little break between 9 and 10 we just regrouped and found something, and we both played pretty decent on the back.

TOREY EDWARDS: Yeah, I think it gets to a point where you realize that you're probably playing a little tight, and it's hot, it was a little slow on the front, and back nine it was just kind of -- you've got to find another gear. You're playing for your life, so you either find your game or you're going home. I think that's kind of where we got to, and fired off some birdies and a couple eagles and kept it going.

Q. Being the No. 1 seed in a USGA event, is there any added pressure for you guys at least coming in? It seems like you did play a little tight on that front nine.

TOREY EDWARDS: Yeah, I don't know if so much the No. 1 seed. I think it's just we haven't been back in a few years. As much as you want to reset, I think we just were a little tight. I don't think the No. 1 seed or whatever that played into it, but I think we were maybe just a touch tight, got off with our first bogey of the tournament, and I think that didn't set the tone for the front, and that was kind of more of it.

BRET PARKER: Yeah, I'd just echo that. We didn't even know we were the 1 seed to be honest with you. We just came out -- in match play it almost doesn't matter at that point. We were a little tight on the front, but glad we figured something out and are moving on.

Q. Best case scenario you're going to be playing two rounds the next two days. You got your massages lined up?

BRET PARKER: I do, 6:30.

Q. What about you?

TOREY EDWARDS: I'm just going to kick back, catch up on a little work, and ice and get ready. Nothing special planned.
