Q. You guys played great today, five birdies, and just wasn't enough against these guys.
TYLER GOECKE: Yeah, I think we were 5-under, they were 7-under. Didn't take a bogey all day. Started out really good. We were making some putts on the front, unfortunately didn't on the back. That was probably the difference. Can't be mad with how we played.
Q. First USGA championship for both you guys. To get to the semifinals, sum up the week and sum up the experience.
BRYCE HANEY: It was amazing. The host facility was absolutely unbelievable. Had a great partner, had my family here, so it was great, a great experience for me.
Q. You guys get a two-year exemption. Does a run like this whet the appetite for something more?
TYLER GOECKE: Yeah, I feel like Cricket is going to be special, and I've heard nothing but good things, and really looking forward to that next year.
Q. You're still in school; how does this help you going forward for the summer, whatever competitions you guys have?
TYLER GOECKE: It gives you a lot of confidence. I'm ready to get going. My next event is not for a couple weeks, but I'm ready to go. Good tune-up for sure.
Q. Obviously you're working, so I don't know what your schedule is like --
BRYCE HANEY: I still play as much as I can, but it just proves that I can still play with anybody. It feels good.
Q. Are you trying for the Mid-Am?
TYLER GOECKE: Yeah, this will be our first try with that.
