Quick Quotes

Q. Kim, the course is playing a bit more difficult today. What is it about the setup that you think has made it more challenging for all the players?

KIM MOORE: I think the wind has definitely picked you a little bit today. Some of the pin locations are just like on top of some ridges which make it kind of tricky to get up there.

But I just think it's more just the wind. The wind has played a little bit more of a factor today for sure.

Q. Exciting year, first year with a cut, and you made it through to tomorrow. How will you reset and refocus going into tomorrow's final round?

KIM MOORE: Yeah, I think I need to hit the ball a little better. I didn't strike it very good today. Didn't strike it very good off the tee at the beginning. Couple holes here and there. Had a couple penalty shots today too.

I think if I can clean up my ball striking a little more I can probably put together a lower score for sure.

Yeah, that's my thought process going into tomorrow. Just try to make some better contact than today, especially with some iron shots and again off the tee; couple stray tee shots kind of got me.

Q. And there is some newer players in the field this year up there towards the top of the leaderboard. What are your thoughts on how the U.S. Adaptive has grown? Certainly been great for the competition, but what are your overall thoughts on the growth?

KIM MOORE: Yeah, just like you said, there has been so many new players. There is at least one lady in every group and I think that says something.

It's great to see. I knew from the start the first inaugural USGA event I knew once people saw that they would jump on board and get involved.

It's already being seen, third year. I can't wait to see what it's going to be like in five, six, seven years, you know.
