Quick Quotes

Q. So just your evaluation of your play today and any memorable shots you had.

NATASHA STASIUK: Today I just went out and just tried to shoot my lowest of hopefully the -- maybe lower, but it was just trying to keep the shots in play and not to get in trouble.

Q. Any memorable ones out there?

NATASHA STASIUK: Trying to think of them. Can I ask him? What's a memorable hole for me? Would you say 17?

CADDIE: Memorable hole? You hit a lights-out drive on --

NATASHA STASIUK: 16.

Q. Looks like you birdied 16.

NATASHA STASIUK: Yeah. No, was it 16?

CADDIE: Yeah, the 16th hole. It's a par-5, right? She hit an amazing drive and was left like 144 yards out, so it was like a 236 yard, almost 140 drive.

NATASHA STASIUK: Was it the 15th hole?

Q. Looks like you birdied 17.

NATASHA STASIUK: 17th, oh, yeah. I missed the birdie on this one that I drove --

CADDIE: 16 is the one you hit the amazing drive.

NATASHA STASIUK: The 16th hole I hit a really good drive and I just hit it as far as I could and I hit about 230, which was my farthest with the new driver. It's a full new bag, so it's a pretty good feeling to hit it that far.

CADDIE: Then you ended up with a par.

NATASHA STASIUK: Then I ended with a par and the next hole, I birdied the next hole.

Q. How does it feel playing in this championship, and what does it mean to you and your fellow competitors?

NATASHA STASIUK: This is my fourth year playing in it. It was pretty honorable to come back again and not have to qualify. But you never know, with a bigger field I might have to, but I'm praying I don't have to.

I'm trying to shoot low. There are other competitors here as well. Just trying to represent the Canada flag.
