Q. Perhaps not the finish you were looking for today, but can you reflect on your week here at the Open?
CAMERON SMITH: It's been really good. It's been nice to be back in the UK playing links golf, which we all love - love and hate.
But, no, it was a really good week. Wouldn't change it for the world. I'll learn a lot from this week, and I'll be back next year stronger.
Q. You said that you're going to learn a lot from the week. Is there anything that stands out now, just quickly, as the learnings to take away?
CAMERON SMITH: I think today perhaps I was hitting it really good on the front nine. Got a couple of -- hit a bad tee shot off 5, and, yeah, just didn't go my way and I got really frustrated. If that had happened to me earlier in the week I think I would have been more calm, but given the circumstances, it just really bugged me. Yeah, kind of felt angry, I guess, the whole day.
Yeah, we'll learn a lot from that, but I stuck in there, tried my best, and I guess that's all you can do.
Q. Just looking ahead to the Olympics, how special is it going to be to be competing for Australia very shortly?
CAMERON SMITH: Yeah, that will be awesome. I can't wait to get over to Japan. It's one of my favourite countries. I love it there. I love the golf over there. Yeah, I'm playing really good golf at the moment. Hopefully, I can go over there and just have a good week with Leish. We've had good weeks in the past, so hopefully we can go have another one.
