Q. How are you feeling after your round today?
TYRRELL HATTON: Somewhat I'd say disappointed. Felt like there was a pretty good score to be had out there, the conditions that the early starters sort of had. I wanted to at least shoot 4-under today to make up for the finish that I had on 18 yesterday.
Yeah, that putt lipping out on the last kind of had a bit more than it typically should, but it is what it is, and go out there again tomorrow and try my best.
Q. How hard was it to stomach the end yesterday?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I mean, yesterday is just one of those things. It's an awkward tee shot. Yeah, just two bad swings back-to-back and that kind of effectively takes us out of the tournament. Up to that point I feel like I had done pretty well considering how bad my swing actually had felt to be inside the top 10 at a major and feeling like I'm struggling, there's positive signs there.
Yeah, so bad way to finish, but all I could do today was come out and try my best again. Like I said, I wanted to shoot at least 4-under and try and get those shots back as quick as possible, but yeah, didn't quite work out that way in the end.
Q. Did you feel like you were struggling a little bit? You played well in Scotland and your results have been good. Why do you feel like you're struggling?
TYRRELL HATTON: Well, I didn't feel comfortable over the ball last week in Scotland, so it's kind of come into this week. I know we were up there on Sunday, got off to a nice start with tough conditions but then struggled at the end.
Yeah, I guess it's only positives that I feel like I'm struggling and I'm still putting myself in some decent positions. But obviously this week it's a lot further back after one bad hole.
Q. What was the reaction on the 18th yesterday, the shooting the putter? That was a new one, wasn't it?
TYRRELL HATTON: Well, if you look closely I didn't actually do the middle finger. You're just going off that guy's tweet, which I replied to and showed that I definitely didn't do a middle finger.
But yeah, I've done that one before on 18. Just a reaction to not being happy.
Q. People saw the funny side of it, I think.
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I'm not doing it to be funny. I'm just being myself, what comes into my head at that time. That's it.
