Alex Noren

Q. What did you think of the week?

ALEX NOREN: It was pretty good. Good all striking. Today was good. Yesterday was great. First day was good, then tricky Friday with the wind.

Overall very pleased.

Q. Talk about playing in a major in these conditions.

ALEX NOREN: Yeah, I'm pleased, and with a little bit better wedge game and kind of lost a lot on the par-5s and making silly bogeys on the front a few of the days, otherwise it would have been up there.

Q. We know you had your big moments, but it looks like you're getting better with age. Do you feel like that?

ALEX NOREN: I'm learning. I'm learning. And I'm trying. I haven't slowed down. I should get better. I'm only 42, so yeah.

Q. What do you like most about Thriston Lawrence's game?

ALEX NOREN: I don't think I've seen him -- I've never played with him. Maybe once. Is he looking good?

Q. Very good. Do you have any favourite Justin Rose stories through the years?

ALEX NOREN: Yeah, he's a great player. I'm happy he's back playing good.

Q. How hard is it to keep that competitive fire into your 40s?

ALEX NOREN: It's not that hard. You guys have all these wonderful tournaments for us, so it's not hard to find motivation. It's just the only thing is when you slow down in your head and your motivation, maybe you change things. I'm trying to get my kids into golf so I can play golf with them so then I don't have to be doing other stuff. That's maybe what I'm trying to do now.

Q. Does your body work the same as it always did?

ALEX NOREN: Yeah. I mean, yeah. If you work at it. My guy David is great. I haven't been having any problems. He thinks I can get a lot faster and a lot stronger. I hope so.
