Q. First round in an Open. How was it?
ANGEL HIDALGO: It was good. Definitely first round under par in a major, pretty happy. I was in control most of the time of the round. But yeah, really happy. 1-under is a great start. Now go to rest a little and try to enjoy tomorrow.
Q. The keys on this golf course and the main things you learned today?
ANGEL HIDALGO: Put the ball in play. Just that.
It was a little bit tricky with the wind, especially the last three holes with the wind from the left. It was pretty tough.
But I was hitting good, so if I still have that confidence from the tee, we can go and do a good week.
