Sergio Garcia

Q. Never a bad thing to have a bogey-free round in a major. How would you sum it up?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah. I mean, obviously the conditions were as good as you're going to get them. The course was there to shoot 6-, 7-, 8-under if you play well and get going with the putter.

Like you said, at least bogey-free, almost birdie-free between the two of us. That was amazing.

Q. How do you sum up your experience this week back at The Open?

SERGIO GARCIA: Well, the experience has been amazing. Obviously I love this championship, and I love coming back. I wish that obviously -- I wish that I would have played a little bit better and scored a little bit better. But that's what it is.

Q. I wanted to get your thoughts on the Ryder Cup going to Spain.

SERGIO GARCIA: Is it confirmed?

Q. No, not yet.

SERGIO GARCIA: So we're not going to jinx it.

Q. I heard you were practising until late yesterday, so clearly there's something you're working on and fighting for?

SERGIO GARCIA: Of course. If I was 10-under par like Scottie Scheffler, I wouldn't be practising as much. I'm sure I would be a lot more fulfilled if I was at 10-under. But that's what it is.
