Q. Final put of the Women's Open, or what might be the final putt, how would you sum up your emotions?
LIZETTE SALAS: There's always emotion on my face. I played well. I'm not going to try to dwell on what could have happened. I played really well and I putted well, too.
Yeah, I think I played well all week. A few bogeys, I kept it out of trouble, and I stayed patient coming down the stretch. Had some crucial up-and-downs and really proud of how I finished and I think it was a great championship.
Q. Bogey-free on Sunday, just shows how much you rose to that challenge?
LIZETTE SALAS: Yeah, and I think I did a good job. My attitude was good. I don't want to dwell on what could have happened. I stayed aggressive. I stayed within myself. I stuck to my game plan, and got lucky today on a few bounces. I'm going to walk out of here smiling, and just know I did a good job.
Q. You've come close and it isn't over yet, there are still two players out there on 18; anything can happen. Do you have to sort of try and keep yourself in a certain zone right now in case that you have to go back out there?
LIZETTE SALAS: I guess? I've never -- I guess I have been in this position before. All I could do is be proud of what I did and also be ready for what could happen. At the same time just kind of mentally prepare for coming up a little short but that's okay.
