Lydia Ko

Q. Overall, pretty solid day?

LYDIA KO: I think I played really solid. Not the back nine that I wanted. Missed a few birdies that could have happened. It's obviously not the greatest feeling finishing off with a double, but on to the weekend and hopefully the goods will be able to carry on for the next couple days.

Q. What have you learned about this course over the last two days that will help you over the weekend?

LYDIA KO: It's tough. It was windy but I think actually being the same prevailing, like the same wind over the last couple days have really helped where sometimes it can be like a north wind and then like a south wind.

So like the wind changes, but here, it's like a west or if anything, it's like west, southwest wind. I think it helps that you get familiar with the lines off the tee and some of the clubs. It's a lot more comparative compared to like some of the other events, and I feel like they don't -- like the course itself is pretty fair, like they moved the tee box on 9, just to make sure that people actually are reaching the fairway and all that.

So it's not like -- it's not like even though it's windy, it plays like not fair. I think it's fair and I think that's good when it's like a fair challenge and you do have to play solid, you know, especially it can get out of hand pretty quick I think, especially at the British Open, so being I think really patient out there is super important.
