Amy Yang

Q. Can you reflect on your week and how it was out there today.

AMY YANG: Oh, it was so windy last four rounds. Definitely wasn't easy out there. Putting was my toughest part and the weakest one this week for me. I wish I could do a little better. It wasn't my friend. But you know, I'll continue working on it. So hopefully it gets better, yeah.

But overall, it was a great experience. I had a good learning this week, yeah.

Q. It seemed like the wind was particularly tough on the back nine.

AMY YANG: Yeah, yeah. Yesterday, too, earlier in the round, it was more calmer and then it picked up more. And you know, I teed off a little later today. So it got more wind out there. And it was colder. So it made it more tougher because, you know, ball is not traveling that far, yeah.

Q. Still a really special week to be here at St Andrews?

AMY YANG: Yeah, yeah, it was amazing. You know, I hope I can play another St Andrews but we'll see.

Q. Can I ask you about Jiyai Shin, I believe you sprayed her with champagne in 2008 when she won; is that correct?

AMY YANG: Yes, either that, or I waited on 18. I don't remember.

Q. I think we've seen you with the champagne.

AMY YANG: Oh, yeah.

Q. How incredible was it now that she's back tied for the lead?

AMY YANG: She's been playing such great golf her entire career. It's so great to see her doing well, and I was actually looking at the leaderboard and she's tied for the lead right now, right. So I'm really rooting for her. I'm going to hang around at the clubhouse and see if I can --

Q. That was going to be my next question --

AMY YANG: Yeah, I will.

Q. -- will you be here if she wins?

AMY YANG: Yeah, I will. Yeah, I will. Yes, definitely. Yeah.
