Q. Charley, that's a heck of a round to climb the leaderboard. How much fun was the day, and walk us through the round.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, really good. Hit in the bunker on the first and made a good up and down there.
Then, yeah, just made birdies when I give myself an opportunity to make a birdie, apart from the last hole. It was a quite tricky putt. It was down the hill and it was off the right, the wind, but it was a little bit left-to-right and a little bit right-to-left.
Usually just hit a firm putt straight at the hole and took the break out, but where it was downhill and a little bit downwind as well, just dribbled it a little bit left and it broke on me. Yeah, that was about it really.
Q. What is your mindset when you are getting on those birdie runs? How much fun is it to keep the pedal down and keep trying to make birdies?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I just kind of enjoy chasing. It's quite fun. I like it. It's more fun that way.
Q. You like to come from the chasing --
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I like hunting someone down. Yeah, no, it was good fun, and see what she does this afternoon and just focus again tomorrow.
Q. Talk us through nearly killing Minjee Lee.
CHARLEY HULL: Nearly killed Minjee? When I hit it I shouted fore right, but I said hope it's on the tee box and it was so, it was all right. I like Minjee. I wouldn't want to take her out.
Q. It did come flying past her.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah.
Q. Was it on your fourth?
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know. Third or fourth hole, yeah, something like that.
Q. You posted yesterday about the conditions. How did you find the conditions today?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, they was pretty quiet to begin with and then about four five holes in it did get pretty blustery and it's getting a bit now.
Q. I was out there (indiscernible.)
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, yeah.
Q. On the beach. You get a bit of that vibe?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, it's really pretty out there. It's nice. The first few holes along the sea front. It is very pretty.
Q. So it's got nice vibes?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, memories from there. Yeah, I agree.
Q. Going to go for it tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, 100%. I haven't got nothing to lose, have I?
Q. (Indiscernible.)
CHARLEY HULL: I think I'm more look at it like the U.S. Open because I was from behind at U.S. Open and we were playing in front of the beach, so there you go.
Q. How much fun have the crowds been? There are sp many people following you?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah. Oh, yeah, it's really fun. It's always great to hear people shout your name and stuff. I think it's always good fun.
Q. Any little ones you've interacted with so far this...
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, there was loads of young kids out there. It was lovely. Had my little nephew around here. My sister said, can you sign his butt yesterday on the baby (indiscernible). I didn't even realize, and I looked, like EJ, and she was, no, we're going to frame it. It was quite cute. His first golf tournament.
Q. And how are you feeling health-wise?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I feel pretty good now. I do feel good.
Q. You're over it completely?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I do. Yeah, which is good.
Q. What's the most fun part of chasing tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: Don't know. Just like going out there enjoy playing golf. Kind of like playing golf with your mates. You just want to make birdies on every hole. That's how it feels tomorrow.
