“I wanted to get a few more birdies today, so that's disappointing but I was able to hang in there and make pars so I'm glad.
I wasn't particularly focused on winning, so I wasn't that nervous.
The wind was strong today, so I was able to hit good distances on the follow-through.
Last year was my first time at the AIG Women’s Open and I found the strong winds difficult, but this year I was able to play my own golf for four days and identify my weaknesses, so I was glad. Today, I had a birdie followed by a bogey, so my momentum was disrupted, and I'd like to improve that momentum and improve my short game. I started the day without thinking too much about my ranking.
Last year, I made a lot of discoveries about how to hit the ball but this year I think I was able to adapt to the wind and play well.”
