Q. How was the practice round?
YOUMIN HWANG: The weather was quite hot today. It is the first course and grass I have ever experienced. I was touched by everything. The score was not recorded. I mainly practiced playing around the green.
Q. It is bermuda grass golf course. What did you focus on?
YOUMIN HWANG: The emphasis was on the approach around the green and wedge shots within 100 yards. It's different from Korea. The texture of the grass is different.
Q. How was the distance from the hot weather?
YOUMIN HWANG: Drivers go similarly to summer in Korea. Iron hits the ball the right way. It goes more than three yards away.
Q. What's the point of the course?
YOUMIN HWANG: I will avoid hazards and bunkers as much as possible. I'll be bold when I swing boldly. Iron shots were similar to those in Korea, but wedge shots were different. I will think while playing in the tournament.
Q. Have you experienced a tournament abroad?
YOUMIN HWANG: A lot is new because it's my first time.
Q. First place in Asia. Is there any pressure? Is there a player that bothers you?
YOUMIN HWANG: I don't care about being No. 1 in Asia. There is no player who cares. I plan to focus on my play. If I focus on myself, I think there will be good results for me.
