Q. Ida, thank you so much for joining us. 5-under par here in the third round of the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. You must be very happy with your performance.
IDA PUTRI: Yes I was very happy for my round for today. I'm very grateful for this.
Q. It was the equal lowest round of the day. Talk to us about how you put together that performance out there.
IDA PUTRI: I think that today was my second bogey-free round, this year. So I'm very happy about it. I hit a lot of greens and just waited for the putts to drop for birdies.
Q. What holes did the birdies come at?
IDA PUTRI: I think it was the 5th hole. I forgot. 9 for sure. That I remember because I finished on 9. I think three on the first nine and two on the back.
Q. Well, it's always nice to finish with a birdie. Talk us through the one there at the 9th hole.
IDA PUTRI: I used my 3-wood on the tee shot and then had around 152 yards from the fairway and hit a 7-iron very solidly. I had a two-metre putt and a break from left to right and just made it.
Q. Seeing yourself shoot the same score as our leader and the Japanese girl currently coming second, it must fill you with a lot of confidence in your game.
IDA PUTRI: I just stayed patient, and because the green area here is so big it's tricky for the break. So I just waited for the putts to drop.
Q. Can you talk to us a little bit about what it means to you to be competing here at the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific.
IDA PUTRI: Yes, it's really an honour for me because this is my first one so this is my debut here. I'm really grateful because on the first day I shot 3-over and made a comeback, 3-under on the second day and made the cut. So it's an honour for me.
Q. What's the goal for tomorrow heading into the final day?
IDA PUTRI: Same game plan as for today. Just stay in the moment shot by shot, and to just see it rolling in.
