Q. 6-under par here in the final round. 15-under total. Runner up at the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific. How does that sound?
KAN BUNNABODEE: It's kind of crazy because after round one I never imagined that I could come this far. But at the turn of 8-under and I still kept going, with 4-under and 6-under in the last rounds, I felt surprised.
Q. You must be very proud and confident in your skills after this week?
KAN BUNNABODEE: Oh, yes. Of course. But at the beginning of the round I lost confidence with my irons a bit. I told myself that I need to be confident so that I can bounce back on the back nine.
Q. What does it mean to you to have performed so exceptionally well in such a major event as the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific?
KAN BUNNABODEE: This tournament means a lot to me because as you know the winner gets to go to the major events and I am really excited as I really want to play in the Augusta National Women's Amateur, Augusta National. I was just trying my best and doing my best.
Q. What do you think will be your lasting memory from this event?
KAN BUNNABODEE: It would have to be shooting 8-under par in the second round, of course. I won't forget that at all.
Q. Looking forward to the future, what's next for you after this?
KAN BUNNABODEE: So after this tournament I'm going to take some time off to recover with my ankle injury. And then I will go back and play in the spring for my college.
