Q. 2-under in the final round. 12-under total and sitting outright 6. You must be very happy with your week?
ASHLEY LAU: Oh, yeah, I cannot complain at all. There's definitely some shots where I would go back and redo it. But it's golf; bad shots happen. And you take it and you just move on.
Q. Competing against some of the world's best here at the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific. You must take a lot of confidence away from how you've performed this week?
ASHLEY LAU: Yes, I would say really just the key for me this week was as I said, have fun and get more comfortable on the golf course. At the end of the day you get a lot of experience from that and you move on and you play a lot of great golf after that.
Q. What do you feel will be your lasting memory of this championship?
ASHLEY LAU: That's a hard one. I would say, one, the golf course is in amazing condition. And just I love seeing my friends here. So I think that's one of the keys to really playing good golf. I enjoy myself outside of the golf course.
Q. What's next for you?
ASHLEY LAU: College. My first college event in the spring is in February. But I am playing a tournament called the Patriot All-American in December, December 29th to 31st. I am looking forward to that. Before that I'm going to take a break from golf.
