Q. Virginie, 2-under today, 5-under total. How are you feeling about your round?
VIRGINIE DING: Pretty good. Pretty emotional. When I was walking into the scoring I saw myself on the TV and I was like, that's me. So emotions are kind of high.
Yeah, feels good.
Q. Uh-huh. Were emotions just from realizing this is an internationally broadcast event and there you were on the TV, or was there anything else going on out there?
VIRGINIE DING: I think just -- I mean, last two years I missed the cut, so to be able to be top 10 I think is just -- I don't know, I wasn't expecting it coming into the tournament, which is always good.
I wasn't giving myself too much pressure. And of course as you said, like it's an international broadcast. My family is watching. Yeah, those are just all the emotions.
Q. Amazing. Talk to us about the golf today. What worked well for you?
VIRGINIE DING: It was just very steady, 2-under. Wasn't as crazy as yesterday with my 4-under, but I gave myself good opportunities. Just made the greens and two-putt and had a couple drop.
So it was a pretty steady round.
Q. Must fill you with a lot of confidence to know that you can come to such a big championship with all the best players from the region and be right up there and in the mix.
VIRGINIE DING: Yeah, it's a huge confidence booster. It's unfortunate that this is my kind of the last tournament of the season. I kind of want to have a break after this.
It's a shame because, again, like I ended off on a high, but, yeah, hope to come back strong like next year and coming in this spring.
Q. As you say, next year we are playing this championship again very soon in March in Singapore. Is that something that you will be really working towards?
VIRGINIE DING: Yes. Definitely. Again, I don't want give myself too much pressure. I think one of the good things that I did this week is coming in with low expectations and just like having fun out there.
