Arianna Lau

Q. Can you just say your name and where you're from?

ARIANNA LAU: My name is Arianna Lau and I'm from Hong Kong, China.

Q. This is your second time playing this championship. How are you feeling this week?

ARIANNA LAU: I'm feeling very excited. From the Queen Sirikit two weeks ago, I had like good momentum going into this, so I'm feeling really grateful, really honored to represent Hong Kong again in this prestigious event.

I know it's one of the most significant amateur events in the Asia-Pacific region, so playing against so many top players in the WAGR, the top 100, top 20 even, I'm just really excited. Really looking forward to soaking up the experience.

Q. You've just played your practice round here today at Singapore Island Country Club. What are your thoughts on the course?

ARIANNA LAU: The course is really a bit challenging because of the greens. They're pretty tough to read, and the course layout is also pretty challenging, pretty steep, but it's a very interesting course. It has lots of different aspects that a player needs to be aware of, so I'm looking forward to playing the course because it's really challenging. I feel like it will test my game a lot.

Q. You've managed to get a name of the Singapore specialist having won two events here not that long ago. How are you feeling this week? Are you feeling like your form is really good at the moment?

ARIANNA LAU: Yeah, I do have some confidence going in. I feel like the most important thing this week is to just play my own game and believe in my own ability to hit shots and just play my best. Don't worry too much about the outcome but just enjoy the experience, try to learn as much as I can.

Q. Do you have any goals for this week?

ARIANNA LAU: Yes, top 10 would be awesome, but I will just try my best and see where my game is going to be.
