Q. Can you just talk to us about your round today?
KEELEY MARX: Yeah, the round started pretty solidly. Made a good bird on my second hole of the day. Holed a pretty big putt. Was a little bit shaky in the middle obviously but it was a good finish with two birdies on my back nine to get me back to two-under.
Q. Can you talk us through those birdies?
KEELEY MARX: I felt really confident through the holes and made some good putts. Most of them from in that 5 to 15 feet where you got to hole them to make birdies and I was able to do that. Especially on the last hole which was good to get me to 71.
Q. What holes were those birdies on?
KEELEY MARX: So I birdied the 11th, 18th and 4 and 9.
Q. Any holes that you found tricky today?
KEELEY MARX: I found the 15th hole pretty tricky. Made double there which was a bit of a soft spot, honestly. But I was playing really conservative, I think I played a bit too conservative taking a wood off the tee and pushing it right into the tree over the back of the green. There was a few too many shots like that but that's all right. I clawed it back.
Q. What are you going to be working on this afternoon going into tomorrow?
KEELEY MARX: Just hoping to hole some more putts honestly. Between that 20 to 15 foot one or two of those in a round it would be unreal to be able to come away with a few birds in that distance.
Q. Feeling confident then?
KEELEY MARX: Yeah, I am my game's trending so I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow and if it's not tomorrow, it's coming soon, hopefully.
