Jaymie Ng

Q. Can you talk us through your round today, please.

JAYMIE NG: Today I think I did pretty well, just that my putting wasn't working the way I wanted it to. I was actually striking it pretty decently, but just putting wasn't working well today.

Q. You got a bogey out there today. Can you talk us through that?

JAYMIE NG: Yeah, double bogey. Yeah, sorry, hole 3.

JAYMIE NG: So, actually, on the fairway my ball was in a divot, and I tried to hit it cleanly, but I hit it a bit too clean and it went over the back, like at the back that's just a cart path. So it rolled all the way to like a hazard, like the bridge, on the bridge of the hazard. So I can't take a free drop because it's considered to be in the hazard. So I just hit it from there.

Yeah, I made a three-putt after that. So it wasn't the best way to start, but I managed okay.

Q. You got a birdie out there?

JAYMIE NG: Yeah.

Q. How did that go?

JAYMIE NG: It was the hole before, and I hit 8-iron in, so I hit it to about 6 feet, and I sank the putt. It was pretty cool.

Q. Anything you'll be working on this afternoon going into the final day?

JAYMIE NG: I think I will focus on the short putts, like short putting and lag putting because, yeah, today putting wasn't working so well.

Q. You learned a lot this week, do you think, from the experience?

JAYMIE NG: Yeah, I think it was great. The pins out there and the conditions were pretty tough for me. Like, it wasn't the usual conditions. So, yeah, I think I handled myself pretty well.

Q. What are your plans for after this week, your goals for the future? Will we see you back here for the next women's amateur?

JAYMIE NG: Yeah, for sure, hopefully. After this, I will play in the SEA Games, yeah, and I might play in Japan as well. So exciting times ahead.
