Jeneath Wong

Q. Jen, a solid round from you today. I want to talk about the start of your round. Started with a double.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah.

Q. Bounced back from that pretty quickly though.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah. I was in the fairway bunker and I had two shots out of there so I was a bit flustered, but I managed to keep composed and just wait for pars and birdies will drop.

Q. I suppose it's better to have those early in the round than late.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, definitely.

Q. The conditions this morning, quite windy.

JENEATH WONG: Yes.

Q. You're currently second in the tournament. Probably a good spot to be with the afternoon.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, the wind did pick up and the wind never really slowed down. I managed to keep it going.

Q. Spent a lot time in Australia in your early career. Tell us a little bit about that.

JENEATH WONG: I moved to Australia when I was ten and I'm from Melbourne, so we play a lot in the wind, too, so I guess it really helped.

Q. And then I guess it's some similarities between a lot of the Sand Belt courses as well.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, links and all that.

Q. That must help you play.

JENEATH WONG: Yeah.

Q. Except you don't want to be in the sand.

JENEATH WONG: No.

Q. Again, you change anything going into the last two days? Will you be more aggressive? You know the course much better now.

JENEATH WONG: I don't think I'll change anything. Just fairways and greens and then just like challenge the putting obviously.

Q. What is the main key, do you think, to scoring?

JENEATH WONG: Putting and just staying on the fairway. Don't go in the bunkers.
