YUNSEO YANG: I was nervous at the start. I made a bogey and a double bogey. At the beginning of the back nine I kept telling myself, It’s not over. I can still make up for it. That helped me finish on a positive note.
I got a bit impatient after missing a short putt on the 6th hole. My tee shot on the 7th didn’t go my way either. I became too greedy and ended up posting a big number.
I’m still doing well in controlling my excitement. There’s one more day left. If I approach it with the mindset of starting fresh, I think a good result will follow.
