Q. Safely through winning your first match. How are you feeling after that?
LUDVIG ABERG: It was good. Me and Jasper had a great game. We both played good. Course is great, not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I thought the wind was going to be blowing more. I guess we got lucky with that. Got through and happy with that, and looking forward to tomorrow.
Q. A bit of a convincing score line there, is that how it felt on course?
LUDVIG ABERG: To be fair, not really because anything can happen on this course. You hit one tee ball in the bunker and all of a sudden you're dropping a shot. You can't really relax. There's no safe shots or anything. You've still got to execute and you've still got to hit your strong shots. So at end 4&2 looks like a big score but it didn't feel like that.
Q. Do you feel like each time you play here at Lytham you learn more about the course?
LUDVIG ABERG: 100 per cent. There are so many valleys and run-offs and I've luckily played here two years before, the Lytham Trophy, so I've been here a couple of times and have a few rounds under my belt. But every time you play here, there's a different wind or different tee box or anything. There's a lot to take into account. But yeah, it's great.
Q. I know Peter Hanson was out following you yesterday and probably again today. Did he have any words of wisdom for you last night in preparation for the match play?
LUDVIG ABERG: Maybe a little bit. He has such experience in The Ryder Cups, played two of them himself. There's a lot that goes into match play. It's a bit different compared to stroke play. You have to keep your ball in front of you especially on a course like this where par is a good score. If you make 18 pars here, you're probably not going to lose a game. But you know, it's great to have him here.
Q. The match play, is that a bit of a stroke-play?
LUDVIG ABERG: I like it because it gives you a fresh start on every hole, so you're not really dragging the last couple holes into it. But it's fun. It's match play and we play match play at nationals over in Phoenix last week, too. It's just fun.
