Q. You must be dejected but you gave it one heck of a go.
RONAN KLEU: Yeah, on the back nine, I gave it a run for sure with those three straight birdies and gave it my all. I feel like I left a lot out there, unfortunately. Especially the second nine, I drove it a little better.
Christo played very solidly. He drives the ball unbelievably as we all know. So fair play to him, honestly and congratulations. I think if I had made a couple more putts in the afternoon it may have been a different situation.
Q. Fair play to you, you gave a great effort with the birdies at the end. Tell us about the birdie from the rough.
RONAN KLEU: Yeah, I was on the right and I'm not going to say it was unlucky but there was a little tree on the right, the only tree on that hillside. I had to close the clubface, swing out right, and managed to get it somewhere on the green. Then I just knew my task with the putt and holed it. It was going a little bit fast, but yeah, I knew what I had to do in the moment and managed to pull it off there.
Q. Tied second stroke-play qualifying, all the way to the final. You must be pleased how your golf is progressing?
RONAN KLEU: Yeah, in this current moment, I'm pretty down unfortunately. I was looking forward to going back to Georgia. But yeah, it's definitely a good week. I can take a lot of positives from it, 8-under around Hillside in qualifying and making it all the way to the final.
Q. How hard is it when he hits it so far, and you play your own game, your iron play is superb, your short game is good, but how hard is it when he's driving so well?
RONAN KLEU: You've got to get used to it. I'm always hitting first into the green. But, yeah, you've just got to focus on your own game. I did that towards the end but maybe not so much at the beginning.
Q. What does this do for Swiss golf as a whole?
RONAN KLEU: I think it's great. Golf is growing in Switzerland and you should probably ask them but I don't know what it's going to do for them. I hope that I manage to help out there.
