REBECCA MARINO: That was super exciting tonight. I feel like the fans really pulled me through the match tonight. There's always a bit of nerves playing at home, but in a good way. I mean, that's really satisfying to come away with the win tonight.
Montreal is a really special place for me after the great year in 2021. So I tried to get in the mood of that and recreate it tonight, and I think that really helped me.
Q. It's never easy in sports, but it was quite easy. What made the difference tonight?
REBECCA MARINO: I don't think it felt easy. No, I was just trying to have the right mindset and play the right way, play aggressively the way that I know I can and just lock in on that and stay focused.
I think once I found it, it was just like straight through all the way to the end. I'm really happy I was able to just lock into my game style.

REBECCA MARINO: I didn't look at the draw, so that's great. I'll make sure I'm ready. I know we played in Vancouver quite a long time ago. We had a battle. We played in Cincinnati as well. She's a fantastic player, so I'm going to make sure that I'm ready to go.
