Press Conference

Q. With the team having failed to score in the last few games, one of the big problems has been that you haven't been getting the ball very much. Why do you think that is and what do you think the team can do to help you get more of the ball during the game?

ROBERT BERIC: Yeah, I mean, we are struggling right now to create, really, chances or like to be more creative in the offense. So, yeah, I think we are making some kind of a gap right now but hopefully we are going to resolve the problem. I think, you know, just these things happen, you just can't score, I don't know, sometimes, things just happen that you cannot score.

So I think that we just need like one push or one little bit, maybe luck we'll score one goal and things will open and we will go with the flow. So I think that just we have to push it with the luck, score one goal and I think that things will open.

Q. On a similar note, you went through a scoring drought last season where you didn't score a few consecutive matches in a row but then you did score in five or six games in a row where you got out of a goal. How did you break out of that last year and what needs to happen on the pitch for you to do that again?

ROBERT BERIC: For sure it would be much easier if I would score as soon as possible because then it's easier to play. You already sunk a lot of pressure. Yeah, I have to keep working hard. I have to keep my confidence, of course, which is the most important and hopefully I will score as soon as possible and then the door will open.

Q. Just at this point, how does the team keep the mood somewhat positive at this point with everything that's going on with the four-game losing streak and all of that?

ROBERT BERIC: I mean, it's clear. It's clear. It's clearly difficult to be positive especially when we are losing. Nobody likes to lose. But as I said, we have to keep working. We have to keep believing in ourselves, and sometimes when the ball is not listening, we have to play with a heart. We have to play with our intensity and push our luck. We just have to push, to push through to win, to make one win and to become more confident.

So this is a difficult time right now. But like I said, we have to believe in ourselves and pushing, pushing until we deserve this win.

Q. Wanted to ask about the matchup against Miami, how are you assessing their season so far and what challenges do you expect at Soldier Field?

ROBERT BERIC: When I look at this team, I see a lot of good players there. They have great -- Pizarro -- (inaudible) in Cincinnati they combined really good -- you have a lot of good players. So it's going to be a tough game for sure. We will have to fight. We will have to take this game really, really serious and we will have to be focused the whole game because every part of the game, one of these players can change the game. So we will have to be focused the whole game and fight. We have to win and we need that win.

Q. One thing about the schedule for you guys is that it's very skewed toward home games in the first half and the second half of the season you are on the road a lot. How important are these upcoming games at home and then just generally speaking to start finding your form, knowing that you have a lot of road trips toward the end of the season.

ROBERT BERIC: It's really important. You have to take points, that's for sure. We know how difficult for us it is to play away. I mean, every week it's difficult to play awake and we know that in the last five games, we have away games.

So it's really crucial to be on this point to take points because after, if we are not in a good spot, we will have difficulties. So it's really, really important.

Q. Just what do you say to the fans who are starting to get pretty impatient obviously this season plus last year didn't go great, and pretty much most of the last decade is really rough for this fan base. What do you say to the fans who are getting to get real antsy for good results?

ROBERT BERIC: I think it's difficult to say anything because I understand them. Even me, myself, I'm frustrated, and I want better results. I want to win and everything. But what can I say? I just can big them to believe in us, to support us, be behind us. Maybe now more than ever, we are in a really difficult position, but as I said, I understand them, and we will try to do everything to get their confidence and get their trust back. We have to deserve that for sure. We have to show that on the pitch.
