Chicago 4, Cincinnati 3
Q. What were you thinking when the ball came to your feet? Just take me through your thought process object that goal.
LUKA STOJANOVIC: Yes, I think it's very important time for that goal, first of all, and I was ready since the ball go to Chino, I was ready for a rebound, for the second goal.
And in my mind it was just good first touch, and to shoot, that's the way I do a lot on the turn, and today finally one come in from long distance.
Q. Anybody who has played before knows when a ball like that drops in front of you, you just get this feeling of excitement. When you saw that ball drop and you knew you had a chance at that, how were you feeling at the moment?
LUKA STOJANOVIC: I was sure it was goal. 100 percent. That's my answer.
Q. In general, how would you evaluate your season and your impact on the team this year?
LUKA STOJANOVIC: Yeah, I say this, also, maybe four weeks ago, I think this is the best season of my career, because the minutes I play and the impact I give to the team, I think this is the best season so far for me because when I have better statistics in the last clubs, I have also much more minutes.
So this is also, like that's why I say this is for sure, and also I feel like I use also any time on the pitch I use to show myself to fans, to staff, also to myself and to my family, also. And I think that in this -- I don't know exactly how much minute, but I think it's so far the best season I would say.
Q. Do you feel like you deserve to be playing more this season with how many goals you've scored?
LUKA STOJANOVIC: Since the season, I've start some games, and also I start well with the goals and playing well start of the season.
But yeah, actually, I can say that I think more minutes. The injury, my injured knee, was last year. So I do all the preseason with the team and I come ready for the season. So I do my best.
I will not look back anymore. I am going to finish with that now and just look forward. We have next home game, and I'm excited, so happy that we are going to play, in front of I hope a lot of our fans in the last game. They have good reason to come now and I invite them to come to this game and finish well and we see what's going to be after that.
Q. You've become a real fan favorite this year, whether it's because of the way you play, the goals you've scored or the donations to charity with the Food for Fire program which is a fan-based thing. What does that mean to you that you've become somebody that the supporters really like and just enjoy playing, enjoy watching you play? What does that mean that the fans have really taken to you this season?
LUKA STOJANOVIC: I think they give me a lot of power, first of all, from the crowd, they give me a the of power on the pitch and I hope I give them back on the pitch and off the pitch. This donation is really amazing what they are doing.
I just put myself like to help how much I can do, and I think even this goal today, I think it's come for them and for this other thing you say right now.
