Q. Nelly, 4-under, how do you rate it?
NELLY KORDA: Not bad. Capitalized on some really good holes. Played the par 5s really well today. The weather was beautiful in the morning and then progressively got a little windier, which I was expecting. But overall, very happy with my round.
Q. Yesterday I saw you hitting it out there in the Pro-Am, it was really blowing, and you walked out this morning and it was pretty flat for links golf, wasn't it.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, completely different type of weather. I was sweating out there in the morning. I mean, even though it's kind of got a little windier, the sun is still shining, so it was a beautiful day.
Q. You took a week off and got a way from golf a little bit in the Czech Republic. Are you feeling your way back a little bit, or is it all part of it?
NELLY KORDA: I didn't get away from golf. I went there and practiced. Other than that, it's beautiful there. Got to enjoy some really good food, scenery and played some golf.
Q. With the rain, the ball is not rolling in a traditional links style, does that surprise you?
NELLY KORDA: I wouldn't even say that golf course is a traditional links style. A lot of the greens are really elevated. You can tell that they have received a lot of water, so it's a little softer out here which can make you a little bit more aggressive.
Q. Obviously your first time around Dundonald Links in actual competition. What have you made of the course?
NELLY KORDA: It's softer compared to the links that I typically played. But it gets windy out here. I played Monday where it was no wind. I played this morning where there was no wind but all of a sudden, it's a flip of a switch and it gets so windy out here and makes it very difficult.
Q. We had the wind yesterday, a lot of sun today. How do you prepare for the conditions that we might be getting this weekend?
NELLY KORDA: Just kind of new day, fresh start. Kind of have to make your game plan like that.
Q. Lottie had an impressive debut.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, she's had an amazing run the last couple weeks and deserves where she's at right now, and it's going to be exciting to se where her career goes.
Q. I think that was the biggest crowds we've even on a Thursday morning. That must be great for you, as well, and you helped attract that.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, grateful enough to play some amazing crowds the past few years, and hopefully we continue to attract more and more crowds because it's really play in front of a big crowd.
