Quick Quotes

Q. Well, that was another really impressive round of golf; the best of the day out there. Obviously it was a good day. Tell me about it.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah. Happy with that obviously. Bogey-free is always nice. Was just hit a lot of greens be hit a lot of fairways, and then holed a few nice putts.

Q. The conditions were fairly kind for Scotland once again, though, weren't they?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, the first nine was a little bit more windy and the back nine calmed down a bit which was nice; could really attack some of the pins.

Q. Was there a part of your game you were really pleased with out there? I'm guessing your approach shots were pretty special.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think my wedges were pretty good. Same as yesterday. I laid up on I think most of the par-5s and managed to make birdie on them still.

Yeah, wedges were pretty good.

Q. You faced some big crowds in Ireland and Evian as well. First two days here playing in Scotland, been lovely playing with all the people around, isn't it?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's been great. The crowd are really good. Even yesterday when we tee'd off early. Yeah, nice to have all the people come out.

Q. Two shots clear heading into the weekend. Can you believe how well everything is going for you?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I mean, I'm obviously just kind of trying to continue the momentum really. Obviously trying to play well, and, yeah, just got confidence and keep on doing that.

Q. I know you were such a good amateur player and everything else. Are you a little bit surprised how good it's coming so quick I guess is the question I'm asking?

LOTTIE WOAD: I'm not sure. I mean, I played in seven majors now so I've had all that experience, and obviously the LET events, too.

So wasn't really new things I guess. Kind of knew how to deal with it.

Q. Obviously in your professional debut heading into the weekend with a lead. Any changes in mindset heading into the rest of the week?

LOTTIE WOAD: Not really. I'm just going to stick to the plan I've had all week and same strategy, and just keep trying to play well.

Obviously people will be chasing me but just not going to change anything.

Q. Talked a little bit about it yesterday, but obviously getting to play with Nelly and Charley, how great were the last 36 holes getting to play with those two?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's been great. Obviously got good crowds as well. Everyone was playing pretty well, so that was nice.

Obviously people I've looked up to, so to play alongside them was really cool.

Q. And obviously in Ireland was at this point that you kind of took the lead, so you're used to being in the final group heading into the weekend. How do you prepare for that mentally? Is it just keeping everything the same?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I mean, I don't really try and change anything. Obviously just try to do what I did in Ireland to be honest.

Yeah, just keep trying to do that.

Q. And playing with Nelly again tomorrow it looks like. Will you be excepting the big crowds you had in Ireland on those final two days?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, definitely. I mean, final group and having Nelly in it is obviously going to get the big crowds.

Q. And just how great kind of preparation is this for next week knowing you have these two weeks on links golf?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think it's great. I definitely want to play this event as good prep for the Open. Haven't played massive amount of links golf over the last year being in America, so just kind of getting comfortable with it all.

It hasn't been too windy yet but I think the weather forecast for the weekend might be worse. Be good prep for the AIG.
