Q. Lots of birdies, can you talk about your round today?
KARIS DAVIDSON: Hit it a lot better off the tee today than yesterday. So it gave me the opportunity to have iron shots into the greens, which I know that sounds obvious, but when you're not hitting fairways, it's hard.
And then just felt really good with the putter. I was really seeing them go in the hole. Kind of caught on fire today. It was nice.
Q. Growing up in Scotland, did you have opportunities to play growing up?
KARIS DAVIDSON: I moved to Australia when I was nine so I didn't get that much of an opportunity. But last week, I got to play Muirfield and Gullane 1, and where my family live, it's kind of linksy, so did a bit of practise.
Q. Whereabouts do they live?
KARIS DAVIDSON: In Innterleithen.
Q. And do you have a lot of family out there supporting you today?
KARIS DAVIDSON: My Mum and dad are here and then I've got some more relatives coming tomorrow. So it's been really nice.
Q. It must be nice to have that sort of support.
KARIS DAVIDSON: It is.
Q. How special is it to play in Scotland?
KARIS DAVIDSON: It's one of my dreams to win this tournament, so it's special.
Q. What's your mindset going into tomorrow?
KARIS DAVIDSON: Honestly I just want to enjoy it and hit the best shots I can and hole as many putts as I can, yeah.
