THE MODERATOR: Here with Yealimi Noh before the Standard Portland Classic. You're obviously coming off a fantastic finish for you at the AIG Women's Open. What kind of confidence does did that give you heading into this week?
YEALIMI NOH: It's given me a lot of confidence. I think also a lot of relief having a good week at the AIG. But, yeah, just so much more confidence and a lot more peace.
Q. What do you take away from a week like that?
YEALIMI NOH: Just that -- I don't know. Like golf is a crazy game. I think we feel that every week, but just how it can switch up really quick. I mean, you just need one good round get you out of a funk, and I think it really did that for me.
Q. Obviously Solheim Cup coming up here in a couple weeks. After that great performance, did that give you any confidence heading into potentially making that team for the second time?
YEALIMI NOH: For sure. I mean, I have been wanting to be on the Solheim Cup team for every year. The last one I was in was 2021 I believe, so it's been a while. Definitely making the team is a big goal of mine.
Q. Then coming back here to the Standard Portland Classic, not your first time here. What have you made of Columbia Edgewater, and what are some of the keys to success at this course?
YEALIMI NOH: I really enjoy coming back here, not just the golf course, which is always in fantastic condition, but Portland in general is a great place, amazing food, and a lot of fun to come back here.
I think just the putter has to be hot here and hit a lot of greens and fairways.
Q. Not too close to home, but maybe a little bit more of a home game for you. Is there a little comfortability there?
YEALIMI NOH: For sure. The weather is always great, too. Yeah, it's very familiar. I feel like I've been here at least six years or five or six years.
Q. And then just a little bit over halfway through our season this year, how would you assess the season?
YEALIMI NOH: It started off pretty rocky and it was looking a little bleak, but obviously after a great week at the AIG it's given me a lot of newfound motivation and hope and excitement for the rest of the season.
Q. Last one: What's maybe a goal you have this week?
YEALIMI NOH: This week? Play as well as I can. I feel like I'm in a really good spot mentally and I'm just excited to come out here and play and have a great week.
THE MODERATOR: Awesome. Thank you so much.
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, thank you.
