Q. Okay, I'm here with Charley Hull after her second round here at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Five more birdies on the card for you. More vacation time for you. Just tell me about the round today.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I played pretty solid. It was quite windy so quite tricky. Yeah, made five birdies today so extra day on holiday.
But, no, I felt like I was playing pretty well.
Q. What is it about your game this week that you think has done well on this course?
CHARLEY HULL: I just feel like I'm playing pretty solid. Just feel quite confident.
Q. Does this course feel tricky to you? It's felt tricky to a lot of the players. Do you like that?
CHARLEY HULL: I think it's quite a short golf course, it is quite a short golf course, so you have a lot of wedges coming in. You have to be quite accurate with your shots and the greens are super fast.
It's a good, fun course to play.
Q. You still putt with the flagstick in. Curious, have you experimented with that?
CHARLEY HULL: Well, I played the last 20 years with it out until they changed the rule and it's just something I got used to it.
I thought, I'm not going to change it.
Q. A lot of players tried it and went back to the other way. You stuck with it.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, like it. It works for me.
Q. When you went on the back nine today, what really seemed to get you going?
CHARLEY HULL: Nothing really. I feel like I played solid on the front nine. Made a couple birdies to begin with. Just playing solid golf. I don't know, just kind of like counting down the days until I get to go home; another week.
Q. Anything about the back nine that maybe you take advantage of more than on the front?
CHARLEY HULL: Not really, no. Just played solid golf. Not much different really.
Q. Seems like the wind was up today.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah.
Q. How different were conditions compared to yesterday?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, a lot more trickier than yesterday, so you got to have a good ball striking day and I'm a good ball-striker, so played more into my hands.
Q. Looks like you'll be playing with Miss Nelly Korda tomorrow. I know you two always have a good time together. Thoughts on that pairing tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I like playing with Nelly. She makes loads of birdies so good fun to watch. Yeah, it's really cool. I'm going to ask her about her swimsuit thing because she's looked really nice in it. I think it was pretty cool.
Q. She obviously knows this course really well. Will you be taking notes out there on how she plays it?
CHARLEY HULL: Not really. I don't really watch players play golf too much. I'm in my own little bubble. I like playing with Nelly. She's a cool girl.
