Q. Joining me today after the first round of the CME Group Tour Championship is Stephanie Kyriacou. Great round today. 4-under; only had one bogey. Talk a little bit about how you managed yourself out there and managed the course.
STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Yeah, it was a pretty good day for me. I putted really well today. Holed some long ones which always helps.
I think I just kind of kept it in play. I mean, it sounds silly, but, yeah, just played the course well. Hit a few greens, just two putted, and then when I had opportunities I just took them.
But, yeah, I think I maximized my round today.
Q. You had some strong finishes the back half of the season. Haven't really missed very many cuts. Can you just talk about how you found your momentum or if something clicked halfway through the season?
STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: I had a couple good finishes at the start of the season as well. I think having that in the bag just took pressure off. I was just able to play more freely instead of thinking about am I going to make CME and stuff like that.
So that definitely helped.
Overall, this might be my best year on Tour which is good. I feel like everything is kind of coming together a bit more. Still things to work on of course, but, yeah, everything has just gelled a bit better within my game.
Q. Then you are a member of the winning International Crown team. Can you talk a little about what experience was like and if that gave you any confidence heading into the final stretch?
STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Yeah, that was unreal. Getting a win with your friends is pretty cool, so that was fun.
But, yeah, I think we had a lot of important moments where we needed to perform and I think we did a great job of that.
So gives myself confidence like seeing that I can do it, but yeah, I don't know, it's a bit of a blur now.
Q. And then you put yourself in a really great spot heading into second round and the weekend. What are you going to be focused on for the next three rounds?
STEPHANIE KYRIACOU: Just going to keep doing the same thing. I mean, it was a lot of center of the greens today and just like middle of the fairways, so I think just keep doing that. Hopefully I can hole a few more long ones and have a good finish.
