Q. I know would've liked a couple opportunities back. Overall how satisfied are you with your round with only used 3-wood?
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, very satisfied. You know, I got on a roll there in a little bit and hit a good amount of fairways and gave myself some chances. Of course not the way I want to end, but that's golf, so...
Q. This is only your 13th start of the season. We knew we would see you play less. That fact that you got into a top 60 in that few starts, how rewarding is that for you?
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, very rewarding. Coming into the year I knew I was going to play a lot less but I just wanted to make sure I was ready when did tee it up. Always being here at the CME Group Tour Championship is always a goal of mine.
What CME and Terry Duffy do with this event, it's truly remarkable. So it's an honor for me to be here and just shows my hard work paid off.
Q. All right, you got a lot of stuff going on in the offseason with the wedding coming up. What have you done so far and what will you have to do the next few months?
LEXI THOMPSON: We basically have everything done. I wanted to kind of knock it all out. Now it's like the little fine tuning, like the flowers, which I have no idea.
But little stuff like that, details and everything. But I'm excited for it.
Q. Some people enjoy the process and some people do not. I was in the category of do not. Did you like picking stuff out and see different things?
LEXI THOMPSON: No. That is not in my realm of things. But we do have a planner and she's helped. Yeah, it's not my category for sure.
