Q. Gaby, you told me a moment ago you've been working on your game but didn't know all this hard work was going to pay off today. Career-best 10-under 62. How would you describe the round today?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, you know, it's one of those days that you are so present in the moment that you stop caring about the result. You actually start like being very, very present and enjoying. At the beginning of the round I told myself I'm going truly enjoy the weekend because I've worked so hard all year long to be here, so I'm just going to be out there without not be strict or rigid.
Q. Despite that, you told me a moment ago you still want to put in some more work even after all the work you put in. What are some things you're trying to fine tune with your game right now?
GABY LOPEZ: I feel that when you start getting so low, nerves creep in and the mind starts running a little faster. So I feel that I just want to get some adrenaline out, I want to hit some drivers as far as I can hit it, you know.
Honestly, I don't know. I keep doing what I been doing. Keep following the routine. My team has done an amazing job with me. I keep believing so much in them so I'm very thankful for them.
Q. You're well positioned now. Just one round to go. What will it take to give yourself a chance here on Sunday?
GABY LOPEZ: Just expect nothing and give it all. I feel that sometimes we want it so badly that the trophy and everything just goes away.
So I'm just trying to enjoy everything I've done, applaud Gaby, being able to be proud of her, and just enjoy tomorrow.
