Quick Quotes

Q. Joining me today after the third round the CME Group Tour Championship is Pajaree Anannarukarn. Take us a little bit through your round today and what you were thinking about.

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: What I was thinking about, I think just enjoying myself out there on the course, and playing alongside Nelly was really awesome.

Q. You had an eagle on No. 6. Walk us through your club selection and then how that hole played.

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: It was 27, 28 yards to the pin and little chip shot and it's -- I think it was a good lie from there. It wasn't too tight. The grain was okay, and then I think it was just a great shot. I wasn't really think a lot on that. Just trying to had a good landing spot and I think I did well on that.

Q. Obviously you and Jeeno are both Thai. Could you talk about your relationship and if you guys have played together before or anything like that.

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Yeah, we're really good friends, and it's awesome to see she's doing well. She's been playing very consistent. Again, she's a good friend of mine and I think we just really -- it's just cool to have a good friend and best friends on Tour because we travel a lot, like far from home, and it's nice to have someone close.

Q. And then you were No. 60, the last one to qualify for this field. How does it feel to be now T2?

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Pretty cool. (Smiling.) I mean, coming into this week like I said, I think it was a good opportunity I got into this week and with how I've been playing this season I'm really happy how I've been playing.

It's awesome to see that the results are showing and moving to a good direction.

Q. How long have you known Jeeno?

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I think since I was close to 16, so she was like 12. So almost ten years-ish now.

Q. Played on the National Team together?

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Yeah, we played a little bit, like a few events together. But we know each other through our like golf tournament and also like sponsorship events.

That's how we became friends. And obviously National Team and we get to hang out with each other more and more and just became good friends.

Q. And was it more nerve-wracking trying to get in this event or trying to win $4 million?

PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I think it's a different kind of nerve, but it's a good nerve. For sure like you can't control what the result going to be, and obviously everyone wants to do well.

Again, just focus on what I'm doing and the result will just take care of itself.
