Q. Here with Angel Yin after her third round at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards. Nice 4&3 victory over Jin Hee. Take us through the day.
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, I think I hit it better today; made less mistakes. Jin Hee really didn't make too many mistakes, but I did take advantage of some of the holes out there.
Q. I believe it's your third time advancing past the group stage. Of course last year we played stroke play. What is it about Shadow or this format that that maybe brings out a little bit of your strengths?
ANGEL YIN: To be honest, I don't know how to answer that question because I really struggle out here. I get so frustrated at some of the holes because it goes straight over. No matter what I do it's just not a good result.
I guess I think the grinding and the course playing hard for everybody gives us all really, really fair advantage for competition.
Q. And then to like advance on, what's maybe the -- is there a mindset shift now instead of maybe you played a little bit more conservatively these last couple days knowing you have to win out to win it at all?
ANGEL YIN: I mean, no mindset shifts. Just going to keep grinding it out. If it takes 26 holes, it's going to take 26 holes. I'm just here to hit one shot at a time and try to dog it out.
Q. This time last year coming back from your injury. How much different or better do you feel -- obviously not coming off injury this year -- but how much better do you feel about your game and overall now compared to this time last year?
ANGEL YIN: I think I was hitting it better last year for some reason. Maybe because I was resting for so long because that I had so much energy and my ball striking was good.
I think the same. I came in last year with so much energy and course is still hard to walk, even if I'm healthy.
