Q. All right, here with Carlota Ciganda after her third victory here. Talk about today's match against Lydia Ko. Talk about how it went.
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I think it was one of the best match play matches that I played in my career, even with Solheims and stuff. Lydia is such a nice person to play with. She's just not only an amazing golfer but just the way she is on the course, like always good shots. She's a very, very nice person.
So we played a great match. I think both of us played really good. The conditions were really tough with these winds and very gusty. Yeah, I really enjoy match play.
I like a challenge and I was, yeah, up to play against Lydia and just very happy to go through.
Q. You mentioned yesterday some of those differences in your games. Did you see that come true today on the course?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: To be honest I think we both played pretty good. I think she played tee to green very solid. I think some of the short game, I think it's the best in the world. I think she's just unbelievable, and it's a lot of fun to watch and just to learn from her.
But, yeah, I think we both played very solid. I think I was under par today, which is a very good result considering the wind and the conditions. Yeah, it was just very tight match. I was 1-up, 2-up after seven holes. She made a great putt on 8 and then we tied every hole until 16 that I won.
I was 2-up, two to play, missed short putt on 17. Went down to the last one, and, yeah, hit a good shot into the green and won the match.
Q. We were just talking up here, too. There was a possibility if you had tied you would go to a four-way playoff. Were you aware at all what the other group was doing?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: To be honest I just wanted to win my match. I was like, just focus on things I can control, your match. I thought it was going to be if I won a playoff, but it was just at the end of the day a scenario for me. I think a little lucky as well.
