Quick Quotes

Q. What's the color tomorrow?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I don't know, maybe black and white or yellow?

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: We don't have that many colors. Very limited.

Q. (Off microphone).

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: Maybe every day.

Q. We are joined now by Team Sloth Machine. Could you take us through the highlights of your round today.

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: I think we started pretty well. I think we started birdie, par, birdie. Then it got a little windier on the back nine, and with the tuck-in pin position, so it's not that easy to make birdies.

But I think we did a pretty great job with just one bogey today and three birdies.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I don't know because she did really good today. We got a birdie because of her shot. Like she hit close to the pin and I'm so easy to make birdie.

Q. How do you complement each other's game? Does one of you hit further or better with the short game? How do you play off of each other's strengths?

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: She hits further, so a lot of the holes she would like serve the driver, and then I'd just have mid to short irons in, so it would make my game a lot more easier.

And her putting is really great, so I think it's a good combination.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: She hit more straight than me today. Yeah, because I hit driver farther, but it's not in the fairway. So she hit from the rough and pretty straight at the pin.

So easy to make birdie today.

Q. With tomorrow being a different format, is your strategy going to change at all between today and tomorrow?

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: I guess we could play more aggressive tomorrow because we have our partner. It just depends on how the conditions are. Tomorrow should be fun, more aggressive at the pin.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I would say so because tomorrow, if someone made a par already, we can be more aggressive to make a birdie.

Q. Could you share a bit about how this team came to be and a bit about why you picked your team name.

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: We just stick with what we had last year.

Q. I know team golf is such an important part of Thai golf and everything like that. What is it about team golf that you guys enjoy? Did you grow up playing team golf on Thailand, or what's kind of the background behind it?

JARAVEE BOONCHANT: I didn't get to play that much team golf until I come to play in college at Duke. So it's like a very fun event. Obviously after we turn pro we don't get to play a team event that much. I think this is a little fun in the middle of the season. It's already stressful enough, so this one is like very put me at ease and enjoy golf again.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: She said it all.

Q. You said you were running it back, Team Sloth Machine. Could you remind the fans and the media, how did you come up with that name? Why Sloth Machine?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Honestly, we don't have time enough and maybe lazy, so we used the same name as last year's.
