Q. Joining me after the first round of the Fortinet Founders Cup is Gemma Dryburgh. Gemma, great 6-under round today. This is the first time that we've played an event at this course. Can you give some first impressions?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, it's great. Obviously very pretty. Big, tall trees like the Stanford trees. Greens are very undulating. You kind of have to know where to be and miss the ball. Generous off the tee but the rough is thick. If you miss it it's a bit penal.
So, yeah, has a bit of everything.
Q. You obviously played the Asia swing but we're back in the United States for a while now. What are you looking forward to and how do you feel like your season is set up at this point?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, looking forward to it. Obviously nice to get a good start in Asia and then come back here for the rest of the season until we go to Europe. New course this week, and, yeah, excited to see some of the returning courses, a few new ones coming up.
Yeah, excited to see what it has in store.
Q. And then you have your son out here this week.
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah.
Q. He did not make the trip to Asia with you.
GEMMA DRYBURGH: No.
Q. How does it feel to be out here as a mom with your wife and son here?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, it's very cool. I just saw them when I finished with birdie on nine. I saw them waiting for me, so pretty special to say hi to him. It's pretty special. Obviously he'll get more and more used to being out here. First week in day care with the LPGA so he's been loving it.
Q. Do you think about it at all when you're out there, like thinking about what he might be doing or about -- excited to see him when you get off?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: I was thinking this morning, I was with him and I was like, you know, trying to teach him to clap. Every time mom makes a birdie you're going to go, bravo. I was thinking every time I made a birdie, hopefully in the daycare they're going bravo. I thought them to do that. Hopefully he was clapping me on.
