Q. Here with Lucy after the first round of the BMW Ladies Championship. You had a hole-in-one on 13. Can you just talk about it?
LUCY LI: It was a good number into the wind. Hit it right at the pin. Thought it might end up a little short but it went in. I just started freaking out. I was like, this is the hole-in-one hole. I've been complaining all week to my caddie about having not holed out this year.
The whole week I was like, "I haven't holed out this year, I haven't holed out since Blue Bay." I was complaining to him and everyone. I was like, I think I'm due a hole-in-one. It was nice to get one there.
Q. And what was the shot where you really feel like that was the club you wanted or were you in between clubs?
LUCY LI: That was definitely the club I wanted to hit.
Q. Were you sure about your 7-iron?
LUCY LI: Yeah, that was definitely the club I was going to hit. It was a little into the wind and thought it could end up short but just pureed it. Perfect number.
Q. On the video, you high-fived everybody. Did anyone say anything right after you did it?
LUCY LI: My caddie, he started freaking out. We were just excited.
Q. Have you thought about the car at all, what you're going to do with it?
LUCY LI: I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I think it said something about like not being able to take the car if you don't live in Korea or something like that. So I'll have to get the details on that.
Q. Can you talk about what playing here is like for you?
LUCY LI: This is a really beautiful golf course. Excited to be out here. It's in good condition. It's windy, which I like.
Q. Anything you can compare it to? People cope saying the Pebble Beach of Korea.
LUCY LI: That's definitely what they are going for with the par 3s, really pretty -- 15 is really pretty and 16 is really pretty. Also 8 is really pretty. So it's just, yeah, definitely reminds me of California a little bit.
Q. How many hole-in-ones have you had in your life?
LUCY LI: I think this is my ninth one.
Q. In tournament or just in general?
LUCY LI: No, this is my third one in a tournament.
Q. With your hole why one there's a donation made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in the States. What does that mean to hear that?
LUCY LI: That's really awesome. I'm so excited that one much my swings can do something for this world, so that's really awesome.
