Q. Here with Sei Young after first round of the BMW Ladies Championship. You tied the course record, the tournament record today. Can you just talk a little bit about your round?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, I played quite solid today, especially in front of my family and big fans. I quite enjoyed it today. I love to play the beautiful views. I really enjoyed it today, yeah.
Q. How many friends and family do you have out here?
SEI YOUNG KIM: They loud lot. They are really loud. Almost ten or 20. Yeah, they are loud.
Q. Are you going to have more as the week goes by?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, weekends, I get more, my sister and my brother's side, my friends. Because they all go to company, working, so they are only able to on the weekend. So they will come to the weekend. So it's going to be more fun.
Q. Someone said, too, you grew up not too far from here. Did you know about this course before?
SEI YOUNG KIM: No. I never played this course before this tournament. So but my dad play a lot this course because he grew up here. So yeah, I mean, I didn't know that this was a really good course. He mentioned it a lot, it's just okay, I thought, but it's really good.
Q. And did he say anything about it coming into this week, like watch out for this, the wind or anything?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, he said as much as like afternoon, it's a stronger wind. So you need to like pay attention to wind. It's going to be stronger than your feelings. Yeah, he mentioned about it.
Q. And you talked a little bit about your birdies out there today, too. Do you feel like you hit a lot close? Obviously you had the eagle. What do you think it was today?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I made a lot of birdie chance every hole, and then a lot yesterday we had a lot of rain. So the greens, that's why we had one-hour delay today. That is why I'm able to like attack the pin every hole. That makes a lot of birdie chance.
Q. When you came out here the past couple days, did you feel like this was a course that you could really go low on, or not just in general?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Depends on the condition and how dry it is. Weather is a really big factor.
Q. And then lastly, too, is there anything you've been working on in your game going into this week?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Not really. Just enjoy. I really enjoyed it especially last week and then this week. I like to play the Asian Tour. It feels like home.
So yeah, I just enjoy.
